Mad Hatters Tea Party
As part of the recent Pride Week 08 the Q-topia facilitators hosted a wonderful Mad Hatters Tea Party at the Cupcake Parlour on Salisbury Street to celebrate their Un-Birthday. The event was spectacular with so many finer details thought of. Including extra hats for those who forgot to wear theirs to an amazing amount of crystal. The table sparkled, the tea and conversation flowed, the food delicious and the cupcakes were to die for. We even made the papers featuring n the Press that weekend. Q-topia wish to thanks the Cup Cake Parlour for making us so welcome. See some pictures from the event below.

The History Boys
A group of us went and saw the Court Theatre Production of Alan Bennett's The History Boys. Alan Bennet is an open gay man and this much acclaimed play has a strong gay theme.

Funny and heartfelt arguments on the purpose of history and education are explored through the staff room rivalries and adolescent cheek in Alan Bennett ’s intelligent and witty play. Inspirational and moving, this piece of contemporary British theatre promises to become a modern classic."
